Events & Experiential
According to Edgar Dale’s Cone of experience we remember 30% of what we see and 80% of what we experience. With that in mind, here are some examples of my work in events and experiential - from ideation to creative operations.
Hearst X
Utilising my skills with social, I created the IG strategy, managing a team of designers and content executives for the launch of a new experiential arm of the business.
Women’s Health Run Club
The best part of the world of health and fitness is the potential for community. It was with this in mind that I created the Women’s Health Run Club. Inspired by the huge popularity of gym classes during this time, I believed that we could use this same enthusiasm, for running; helping women who otherwise wouldn’t think of themselves as ‘runners’ to find their feet.
With an average weekly attendance of 40+ runners, we created a hugely popular club with running routes, operations and social coverage all managed by me. We were able to monetise the club and even take it on tour to Manchester and Glasgow, thanks to partnerships with Starbucks, New Balance and Armani.

WH Live Virtual
In April 2020, like so many, we were forced to take our in-person event online thanks to the COVID pandemic. We were the first brand in Hearst to put on a virtual event and indeed the first virtual fitness festival in the UK. I personally managed the live streaming of each element (talks, workouts and workshops) along with all pre and live social promotion.
For the event I created a Facebook group that reached 10k members in 3 days.
Panel Discussions
I am confident in appearing as a host or expert for panel talks, for instance here, speaking about my personal experience and knowledge of the industry at an Apple Fitness marathon discussion panel.
